A brand-new season of the UAE Sportbike Championship, organised by Furiosa Racing, is just around the corner and we’re ecstatic! Just like last time, Bike Nation will be bringing you all the latest updates related to the 2019-20 Championship. And we are expecting to witness a more exciting, thrilling, and competitive season!
As per the event time-table, Round 1 of the 2019-20 UAE Sportbike Championship will commence this weekend on Thursday, 21st November as the Test Day which would involve general testing session, free practices, and test sessions depending upon the category. 22nd-23rd November will be the qualification/race day. All the sessions will be held at the world-famous Dubai Autodrome circuit.
This year we have 10 participants in the 600cc Superstock category. Most of them will be riding a Yamaha R6. The 600cc Supersport category will have 4 participants and the Ducati Pro-Twins category will have 9 participants including Dania Akeel who’s the first female Saudi rider to receive her Speed Bikes Competition Licence and to participate the UAE Sportbike Championship. She will be riding a Ducati 959.
