Ducati has finally taken the wraps off the second-generation Ducati DesertX and this one’s built to go harder, further, and faster off the beaten path.
First previewed at EICMA 2025, the new DesertX now arrives as a fully evolved desert weapon. At its heart sits the 890cc V-twin from the Monster V2, pushing out 110 hp and 92 Nm – strong, punchy, and ready to rip across dunes or highways alike.

Draped in a striking Matt Star White Silk finish, the DesertX gets Ducati Quickshifter 2.0 as standard, along with a highly adaptable electronics suite. Riders can toggle between six riding modes – Sport, Touring, Urban, Wet, Enduro, and Rally – making it equally happy slicing through city traffic or tackling rough trails.
The highlight? A four-level Cornering ABS system, with dedicated off-road settings. Levels 1 and 2 are tuned for dirt action (and can even be switched off in Enduro and Rally), while Levels 3 and 4 keep things in check on tarmac. Add Ducati Traction Control, Wheelie Control, and Engine Brake Control, and you’ve got a bike that adapts to your skill and your courage.

Underneath, it’s serious hardware. A purpose-built monocoque frame doubles as an airbox, while fully adjustable KYB suspension offers massive travel – 230mm up front and 220mm at the rear. Brembo M4.32 calipers bite down on 305mm discs, ensuring confident stopping power when things get sketchy.
Rolling on 21-inch front and 18-inch rear wheels wrapped in Pirelli Scorpion Rally Street tyres, the DesertX means business. A slimmer 18-litre tank and 209 kg wet weight (sans fuel) keep things agile despite its rugged intent.
