We are well aware of the Royal Enfield Flying Flea C6, an electric motorcycle that is going to mark Royal Enfield’s entry into the world of EVs. While there’s an official website for the electric bike, it has not been officially out yet. But that didn’t stop the upcoming 2-wheeler EV from winning – an award, that too a highly and globally recognised one.

Royal Enfield Flying Flea C6 has earned global recognition by winning the Red Dot Design Concept Award 2025. Inspired by the original 1940s Flying Flea – a lightweight motorcycle famously air-dropped during World War II – the C6 reimagines that heritage in a striking electric avatar.

The design is a mix of past and future, staying true to Royal Enfield’s classic roots while pushing into modern EV territory. Standout details include a floating saddle, teardrop tank, round digital display, and an exposed aluminium exoskeleton frame. A magnesium-cased battery with cooling fins and a girder-style front fork further enhance its old-meets-new character, echoing the vintage silhouette of its wartime predecessor.

The Flying Flea C6 is the first product in Royal Enfield’s new electric line-up, to be followed by the S6 scrambler-styled model in early 2026. Both bikes are being developed by dedicated engineering teams in India and the UK, reflecting Royal Enfield’s global design and development approach.

The C6’s recognition at the Red Dot Awards highlights not just its aesthetic appeal but also the brand’s ambition to carve a space in the fast-growing electric motorcycle segment. The company is expected to give the public its first real look at the Flying Flea C6 at MotoVerse 2025, scheduled for November.
