Aprilia is going to reveal a new 400cc sportbike on Sept 7. The company has already started releasing hints/teasers of the upcoming motorcycle via its social media channels. The new product would compete with the likes of Yamaha R3, KTM RC 390 and Kawasaki Ninja 400.
Aprilia’s new 400cc sportbike would be inspired by the brand’s RS660 which is a good-looking motorcycle itself. We wouldn’t be surprised to see a similar headlight and fairing setup. Also, the tail section could also borrow some cues from the middleweight machine.
Other features that one can expect in Aprilia’s new 400cc motorcycle include a fully digital instrument cluster, USD front forks, rear mono shock, full-LED lighting, aggressive riding position and a good amount of electronic wizardry like ABS, traction control, etc.
While Aprilia hasn’t confirmed the name, it is being speculated that the new motorcycle will carry the moniker RS 457.
