An Aston Martin for the Sunday morning ride? Now we’re talking.
After two track-only motorcycles, Aston Martin and Brough Superior have unveiled the AMB 002 Roadster, their first road-legal collaboration. Just 300 examples will be built worldwide—and this time, the destination can include a coffee stop rather than a pit lane.

More than a badge on a tank
The AMB 002 is an all-new motorcycle, developed specifically for the road. Its 1,083cc water-cooled V-twin produces a claimed 130bhp and 110Nm, with the emphasis on usable low and mid-range torque.
That sounds like the right brief for a roadster. On an early morning run towards Hatta, accessible drive out of a bend matters far more than a headline power figure you rarely get to explore. Whether the Aston delivers that experience is something a road test will have to establish.
The engineering deserves a closer look
Under the carbon fibre sits a titanium backbone frame machined from solid billet. Aston Martin puts its weight at just 5kg, contributing to a claimed 50:50 weight distribution. The complete motorcycle is quoted at 190kg, although the announcement does not identify that as dry or kerb weight.

Then there’s the front suspension. The double-wishbone Fior fork separates steering and braking forces, with anti-dive characteristics intended to keep the bike more composed under braking. It is one of the most interesting reasons to look beyond the wings badge.
The carbon bodywork carries Aston Martin’s design influence, while hand-crafted leather seat pads add a suitably expensive finishing touch. Even parked, this should give the usual superbike crowd something to gather around.
What it means for Gulf riders
We can picture the appeal: something unusual enough to sit beside a special car, with the promise of actually being ridden.
The practical details still matter. The launch announcement provides no UAE price, confirmed GCC allocation or local registration information. Buyers will also want clarity on servicing and parts support before committing.
Initial orders are open, with first deliveries scheduled for Q3 2027.

Bike Nation’s take: Titanium and carbon get our attention. A roadster that makes you reach for your helmet would keep it. Let’s hope these 300 motorcycles collect kilometres as enthusiastically as they collect admirers.
