Vespa continues its Lunar New Year tradition with the 2025 Vespa 946 Snake, celebrating the Year of the Snake in style. Following the 946 Dragon (2024) and 946 Bunny (2023), this marks the third installment in Vespa’s exclusive Lunar Collection, which could eventually span all 12 Chinese zodiac animals.
Draped in an iridescent winter blue livery with a subtle serpent motif, the 946 Snake takes a refined approach. Chrome-plated snake emblems adorn the front fender and fuel cap, while the saddle and grips feature a snakeskin-inspired texture for a unique touch.
Only 888 numbered units will be produced, nodding to the lucky significance of the number 8 in Chinese culture.
Mechanically, the Vespa 946 Snake remains unchanged from the standard 946. It will be available in 125cc and 155cc variants, featuring a single-arm front suspension, 220mm brake discs with ABS, and ASR traction control. With its exclusive design and limited availability, the 946 Snake is a stylish collector’s piece for Vespa enthusiasts.
