KTM has unveiled the highly anticipated 390 SMC R, a supermoto inspired by the 690 SMC R and built on the very popular 399cc platform that is shared with the 390 Duke. Debuted at the 2024 EICMA Show, this lean machine is designed for aggressive cornering and thrilling rides.

Weighing just 154 kg—11 kg lighter than the 390 Duke—the KTM 390 SMC R features a compact 9-litre fuel tank and a single-piece seat for nimble handling. It borrows key components like the handlebar, mirrors, and lights from its naked sibling, maintaining a clean and purposeful design.

Equipped with fully adjustable WP USD front forks offering 230mm of travel and a preload/rebound adjustable rear mono-shock, the bike ensures precise handling. The braking setup, shared with the 390 Duke, delivers excellent stopping power. Riding on 17-inch wheels fitted with Michelin Power 6 tyres, the 390 SMC R also boasts switchable rear ABS, enhancing its supermoto capabilities.
