A new Honda cafe racer has emerged in type approval images, hinting at an upcoming 300cc retro-inspired motorcycle. The bike appears to be based on the Honda CB300F Twister, a model sold in South America, sharing its air-cooled, 293.5cc single-cylinder engine producing around 23bhp and 26.4 Nm of torque.
Unlike many modern bikes, the air-cooled engine stands out in a market shifting towards liquid cooling. Notably, South American models like the Twister can run on 100% ethanol, a unique capability that might extend to this new cafe racer.
Beyond the engine, the chassis closely resembles the CB300F, but key differences include USD front forks replacing the telescopic setup, and a front brake disc mounted closer to the wheel spindle. Interestingly, some mounting bolts seem to be missing, suggesting this might still be a prototype.
What makes this leak more intriguing is that type approval images usually show digital design drawings, whereas these appear to be actual photographs of a near-production motorcycle. If true, Honda could be gearing up for an official launch soon, bringing a stylish new cafe racer to the market.
