It is not hidden from the world that Ducati has been working on a Multistrada V4. After the Panigale V4 and Streetfighter V4, this will be the Italian’s next product to feature the mighty V4 engine.
Last year, a test mule of the Ducati Multistrada V4 was caught on camera. Since then, there was no update about the motorcycle. Now, a bunch of new spy shots has hit the internet.
It can be seen in the spy pictures that the Multistrada V4 is still in its early development stages. The test mule has some heavy testing equipment mounted on the pillion seat. Also, the fact that the bike was heavily camouflaged could mean that Ducati might be looking to make some changes in the bodywork of the new Multistrada.
Not much is known about the Multistrada V4 at this point in time. However, one thing is certain that it will indeed look similar to its other siblings. When it comes to the engine, it will share the same V4 engine that is currently employed in the Panigale V4 and Streetfighter V4 where it produces 214 bhp and 208 bhp respectively. So the Multistrada would have close to 200 horsepower.
We are expecting Ducati to unveil the Multistrada V4 by the end of 2020, perhaps, at the EICMA.
