Longest Journey on Electric Motorcycle

Adventure rider Ali Abdo has set a new world record for the longest journey on an electric motorcycle. He used an Energica EVA EsseEsse9 electric motorcycle for this record and travelled a total of 12,749 km!

For this record, Abdo went to Egypt. It took him 30 days to complete this trip. Apart from setting the world record, Abdo’s goal was to raise youth awareness about climate change with his ride. That’s why he opted for an electric motorcycle – an Energica EVA EsseEsse9.

Ali Abdo has multiple Guinness World Record titles under his belt. In 2021, he set the previous world record for the same thing astride the same electric motorcycle. The guy has also broken the world record for the longest distance ever recorded on an electric motorbike in 24 hours, which was 919.87 km. Last year, he also broke the record for the longest journey on an electric motorcycle in a single country.

Abdo and his team are now planning for their next world record attempt for the most countries visited on an electric motorcycle. And the goal for their next ride will be to promote the issue of climate change. Abdo will start in Egypt, and then travel through Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait and Oman before he reaches the UAE.
