kawasaki zx-4r teaser

Kawasaki has released an image that tells us that the Japanese two-wheeler giant is going to unveil 4 models on February 1st. However, what are these motorcycles, remains unknown. But, as per the reports, out of the 4 bikes, one could be the Kawasaki ZX-4R.

According to an executive order issued by the California Air Resources Board, Kawasaki has received a green flag for a 2023 model that can carry the moniker “ZX400SP” and have an engine capacity of 399cc. While no other details are known as of now, this specific model could be the Kawasaki ZX-4R because the company uses “ZX” to designate its sportbikes in the Ninja family.

It’s being said that the Kawasaki ZX-4R would be based on the 4-cylinder ZX-25R that made its debut back in 2019. So expect the styling of this motorcycle to borrow cues from the quarter-litre Ninja.
