A lot happened in stage 1 of the Jordan Baja 2019; crashes, accidents, mechanical problems, and whatnot. It was indeed an action-packed leg which gave the participants some really hard time. Now, stage 2 has also come to an end and here are the results.
Moh’d AL-BALLOSHI continues to lead the pack on his KTM 450 Rally. He clocked a total time of 5:15:59. Following him for the second spot is Abdullah AL-SHATTI who crossed the line at a total time of 5:58:43.
Sultan AL-BALLOSHI, who broke one of his fingers in stage 1, who was at the third position at the end of stage 1 and he held his place after stage 2 and slammed a total time of 6:00:31 on his Kawasaki KX450F.
Running at the fourth place was Ata AL-HMOUD but due to his brutal crash, he dropped down a place to 5th. Earlier, even his return to the race was uncertain, and just coming back from that crash is commendable. He had a time of 8:41:03 on his Beta 480. His fourth place was taken by Abdullah ABU AISHEH astride his KTM EXC500F as he set a total time of 7:42:38.
Hamzeh AL-ZAWAHREH, Saif AL-ABBADI, and Abdullah BOSHMAF occupied 6th, 7th, and 8th place respectively.
Stage 2 of the Jordan Baja 2019 is completed and we’re now waiting for stage 3. Things are only going to get more intense from this point onwards so stay tuned for all the updates.
