Harley-Davidson Pan America made its global debut in February. It’s the American motorcycle manufacturer’s first ADV which, apparently, is receiving an overwhelming response; well, at least in Wisconsin.
Based on a recent report, the Harley-Davidson Pan America started to reach the showrooms in late May. The dealers say that the ADV presents a great value in the segment. Starting at just USD 17,000 (AED 62,444), it’s competitively priced among the other adventure-tourers out in the market. No wonder why the motorcycle is witnessing such a demand with customers picking them up as soon as they arrive at dealerships.
To help manage the sales of the Harley-Davidson Pan America, some dealerships are requiring deposits and using waitlists. A sales outlet located in the region says, “It’s a pretty overwhelming response we got from the consumer.” And it’s not just the customers who are excited about the Pan America, even the dealerships are pretty jacked up, too. “I rode it and my sales manager and my service manager — and we all loved it,” said another showroom in the area.
It’d be interesting to see how the brand-new Harley-Davidson Pan America is received in the UAE. What are your thoughts about the ADV?
The Pan America is powered by Harley-Davidson’s Revolution Max 1250 V-twin engine that churns out 150 hp of max power at 9000 rpm and 127 Nm of peak torque at 6750 rpm. The motorcycle is loaded with some really interesting features that are variant dependent. It comes with a semi-active suspension setup and also a unique Adaptive Ride Height (ARH) system. Harley-Davidson has also thrown in heated grips, TPMS, TFT display, and whatnot.
