The Emirates Motorsport Expo is one of the most anticipated motoring events that take place in Dubai annually. This year it was the fourth edition of the EME that happened on October 4th, Friday. It was a full day of thrilling motorsports activities and so much more at the Dubai Autodrome.
2019 EME Key Highlights
-EMSO CEO Mahir Badri, Dubai Autodrome General Manager Faisal Al Sahlawi and Yas Marina Circuit Deputy CEO Saif Al Noaimi commenced expo activities by welcoming media, motorsport representatives and guests.
-The new National Sportsbike Super Series was announced along with various other race series like Hankook 24H Dubai, F4UAE Championship, Porsche BWT Sprint Challenge Middle East, and new NGK UAE ProCar Championship.
2019 EME Activities
-There were many interesting and exciting motorsport activities at the 2019 Emirates Motorsports Expo like Drift Taxi experience, Porsche GT4 Experience, Passenger Hot Laps, McLaren Sprint Experience, Ferrari GT Experience, Clio Cup Experience and many more.
-Also, there was the ‘Dakar On Your Doorstep’. It was newly created by Dakar veterans Sabertooth Motoring Adventure, introduced guests to the off-road world of Dakar. Actual Dakar Rally crew were on-hand to chat with visitors.
-The acclaimed Power Hour Challenge returned as the main feature at the EME; it allowed spectators to get up-close to an exclusive selection of motorbikes on the track like Ducati 959 Panigale, Ducati Panigale V4, Aprilia RSV4 RF, Kawasaki 450 dirt bike, and a Harley Davidson cruiser.
-The Power Hour Challenge also had race cars like Jaguar XK120, Mitsubishi Pajero Evolution, BMW E30 M3 DTM Tribute, Dakar winning Toyota Hilux T1, etc.
The 2019 Emirates Motorsport Expo has been fabulous. We’re pretty sure it’ll be bigger and even more exciting next year.
