Norton has a new flagship superbike called the Manx R. It is the latest offering from the British motorcycle brand that has a 206 bhp V4 heart.
The new Norton Manx R carries a very modern design language. It’s compact, mean-looking, has an attractive rear end, and exposes just the right mechanical bits to keep the heat on.

In terms of equipment, it gets semi-active Marzocchi suspension, Brembo brakes with new Hypure calipers, twin-spar chassis, and more. For the electronics, Norton hasn’t been shy. 6-axis IMU, traction control, wheelie control, slide control, cornering cruise control, along with various riding modes, are some of the wizardry.

The elephant in the room is the new V4 engine. While it shares its bore and stroke with the old V4, it’s lighter and more compact. The 1200cc mill has been tuned to push out 206 bhp at 11,500 rpm and 130 Nm of torque at 9,000 rpm. An interesting bit is that 75% of the twisting force is available from just 5,000 rpm.
