If you thought BMW’s litre-class bikes couldn’t get any more desirable, think again. BMW Motorrad has just pulled the wraps off two seriously tempting special editions – the BMW S 1000 RR M2 Edition and the BMW M 1000 RR M2 Edition.

Built in collaboration with BMW South Africa, these limited-run machines are all about visual aggression and exclusivity. Both bikes wear a sinister Black Storm Metallic finish, sharply contrasted with bold red accents and striking red RR logos splashed across the fairings. It’s subtle, but just loud enough to make a statement.

The BMW S 1000 RR M2 Edition gets red detailing on the fairing and pillion cover, a tinted windscreen, an M-embossed seat, and red-accented Design Option wheels. Meanwhile, the BMW M 1000 RR M2 Edition dials things up with red highlights on the carbon wheel rims, tank, and fairings, plus M winglets wearing the RR badge in red.

Both bikes come equipped with Akrapovic exhaust systems as standard, along with signature M hardware like carbon wheels, billet components, and sporty footrests on the M 1000 RR.

They’re available to order now, but only in South Africa. Well, at least, for now, we guess.
