Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 Phantom Special Edition

A dealership has taken the rugged Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 and turned it into a hardcore adventure machine. UK-based Cooperb Motorcycles has unveiled the Himalayan 450 Phantom, a heavily modified special edition.

It is significantly more expensive than the standard Himalayan 450 variants in the UK, including the Kaza Brown model and the Mana Black edition. However, the Phantom isn’t just a cosmetic upgrade—it’s a full-fledged rally-style build designed for tougher terrain.

Cooperb Motorcycles, which also has race-winning experience with Himalayan 450-based machines, says it selected components that make the bike more aggressive, lighter and better suited for serious adventure riding.

The Phantom package upgrades the suspension with either a K-Tech or Hagon rear shock, offering preload and compression adjustment for improved off-road performance. It also includes Cooperb bar risers, a front hose relocation kit, lower front mudguard, and Pivot Pegz for better rider control in rough terrain.

A wide range of adventure-focused parts from Acerbis further enhance the build. These include handguards, a large 23-litre fuel tank, upper fork guards, short gaiters, chain guide, skid plate, X-Power engine case protectors and radiator mesh. The bike also gets a Rally Seat and seat unit from Royal Enfield, reinforcing its rally-inspired character.

Power continues to come from the Himalayan’s 452cc Sherpa single-cylinder engine, but Cooperb adds extra punch with an HP Corse full exhaust system, DNA Combo induction kit, and a FuelX Pro+ programmer to sharpen throttle response and performance.

The result is a purpose-built adventure machine that takes the Himalayan 450’s already capable platform and pushes it deeper into rally territory.
