suzuki Katana Limited Edition

Suzuki has unveiled a special Limited Edition of the Suzuki Katana, with production capped at just 45 units. The exclusive run adds subtle visual upgrades and a sportier exhaust while keeping the Katana’s performance DNA intact.

The modern Katana already draws heavily from the design of the original Suzuki Katana, famous for its sharp lines, silver finish and distinctive nose. The Limited Edition builds on that heritage with a handful of cosmetic touches aimed at sharpening the bike’s aggressive look.

Each motorcycle receives a numbered badge marking its place in the 45-bike production run. Additional styling elements include a carbon-style tank pad, frame sliders, and a blacked-out rear fairing. Suzuki has also added a black-and-silver decal package dubbed “The Edge”, designed to highlight the Katana’s angular bodywork.

Buyers also get a couple of collector-friendly extras. The package includes a Katana-branded garage mat and a copy of the book Katana History, which traces the evolution of the model across more than four decades.

The only mechanical upgrade comes in the form of a dedicated Akrapovic slip-on exhaust, adding a sharper soundtrack to the Katana’s inline-four punch. Under the tank sits the same 999cc engine derived from the Suzuki GSX‑R1000, producing a claimed 152 hp. In Katana tune, the motor prioritises strong mid-range thrust over peak top-end power.

Electronics include three ride modes, five-level traction control (STCS) and a bidirectional quickshifter, while the aluminium chassis is paired with KYB suspension and Brembo radial brakes.

The Katana Limited Edition is now available through dealers—though for now, it’s exclusive to the German market.
