jawa 730 Twin

Jawa Moto may have faded from the spotlight in recent years, but the legendary Czech brand looks ready to twist the throttle again with the upcoming 730 Twin. Spotted in near-production form earlier this year, the new motorcycle hints at a confident return rather than a nostalgic footnote.

This machine comes from the original Jawa Moto, not to be confused with the Jawa-branded bikes sold in India under Mahindra-backed Classic Legends. The 730 Twin traces its roots to the Jawa JD 730 unveiled in the Czech Republic in 2025, and it carries that DNA forward with a thoroughly modern approach.

At its heart is a liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine producing a claimed 74 bhp at 8,200 rpm, promising lively performance without going overboard. The motor is said to meet Euro 5+ norms, with Jawa also planning a 47 bhp A2-compliant version for newer riders looking to step into the twin-cylinder world.

Hardware is where the 730 Twin quietly flexes its muscles. Fully adjustable KYB upside-down forks up front and a matching rear shock handle suspension duties, while Brembo callipers paired with Bosch ABS take care of braking. That’s premium kit by any standard.

The bike rides on a tubular steel frame and features a full-colour TFT display with navigation and connectivity, along with LED lighting all around. With a reported kerb weight of 213 kg and an expected 16-litre fuel tank, the 730 Twin looks well-suited for both spirited weekend rides and everyday use.
