2020 Indian Scout Bobber Sixty uae-dubai

Indian Motorcycle is gearing up to celebrate 125 years of heritage, and a special-edition Scout Bobber 125th Anniversary model appears to be part of the plan. The confirmation comes via recent homologation filings in Australia, which list the anniversary edition by name along with its internal model code, SBD77.

While the documents stop short of revealing full technical specifications, Indian’s model code structure offers some telling clues. The “SBD” prefix confirms that the motorcycle is based on the Scout Bobber platform, likely mirroring the Limited +Tech trim. For reference, the standard Scout Bobber carries the model code SBD76 and uses the 1,250cc SpeedPlus V-twin, producing 105 hp at 7,250 rpm.

The key detail lies in the final digit of the anniversary model’s code. The “7” suffix suggests that the Scout Bobber 125th Anniversary will share its engine tune with the Indian 101 Scout, which is rated at a higher 111 hp from the same 1,250cc SpeedPlus motor. If this holds true, the anniversary edition could be the most powerful Scout Bobber to date.

Design details are yet to be revealed, but expectations are high. Given the milestone, the bike is likely to feature heritage-inspired styling, possibly finished in classic Indian red, along with exclusive badging and commemorative touches that pay tribute to the brand’s long and storied history.

With Indian Motorcycle marking a major anniversary, the Scout Bobber 125th Anniversary is shaping up to be a collector-friendly product. An official reveal is expected later this year.
