Honda might soon expand its retro motorcycle lineup with the rumored GB500, potentially arriving as early as 2025. If true, this new model could become a top choice for enthusiasts within Honda’s classic-styled range, surpassing the already popular GB350S.
The buzz stems from a recent trademark application filed by Honda Motor Corporation in the U.S., explicitly listing the name “GB500.” This development hints at the possibility of a larger-engine variant joining the GB lineup, complementing Honda’s middleweight motorcycles.
In terms of styling, the GB500 is expected to resemble the GB350S, maintaining its retro charm while incorporating updates to house a larger engine. Speculations suggest a displacement of around 525cc, placing it alongside Honda’s CB500F, CB500 Hornet, and CL500 in the middleweight category.
