Moto Guzzi makes some really wonderful motorcycles and has a totally different fan base. Perhaps its products aren’t everyone’s cup of tea but those who know what makes a Moto Guzzi a Moto Guzzi, they are loyal to the brand.
Now, as per a media report, Moto Guzzi has recalled select 2023 V100 Mandello models. It is being said that the company has taken this step due to a rear shock absorber that could break that could turn out to be pretty serious for the rider and others nearby.
The report says that around 260 motorcycles in the US are affected by this recall. Out of these, 76 units have already found their homes whereas 184 are parked at different dealerships.
Also, only certain V100 Mandello and V100 Mandello Aviazione Navale models are a part of this recall as they have Kayaba suspension components. The V100 Mandello S model comes equipped with Ohlins suspension components and is not affected by this recall.
The affected models were produced between October 28, 2022, and July 14, 2023. Affected VINs range from ZGUMGUA09PM000002 to ZGUMGUA09PM000212 and are not sequential.
