Francesco Bagnaia-italian gp-22

The 8th round of the 2022 MotoGP season was held last weekend. And the winner of the Italian GP was Ducati’s Francesco Bagnaia – an Italian rider on an Italian brand’s race machine.

Bagnaia was at the 5th place at the starting grid and fell back to 9th during the first lap. However, he quickly enhanced his position in the race by overtaking one rider after the other and shortly after he was leading the 2022 Italian GP.

Fabio Quartararo-2022 Portuguese GP

Reigning world champion, Fabio Quartararo, was working to bring his Yamaha up to pace and win the race. The French rider used his skills and made some brilliant moves to get past his competitions and finally he was behind Bagnaia.

While Fabio is fantastic when it comes to late braking and his Yamaha is great at carrying good speeds in the corners, Bagnaia’s GP-22 has insane acceleration and top-end that certainly helped the rider to create a gap of a second from Fabio.

Quartararo defended his spot well and also managed to close the gap from the leader, however, it was Bagnaia who was the first to cross the chequered flag. Following Fabio was Aleix Espargaro on his Aprilia.

Zarco was at the 4th place and the 5th and 6th spots were occupied by VR46 Ducati riders Marco Bezzecchi and Luca Marini respectively. KTM’s Brad Binder performed brilliantly and finished 7th after starting from 16th. LCR Honda’s Takaaki Nakagami and Miguel Oliveira on the sister factory team KTM settled at 8th and 9th places respectively.

Marc-Marquez

And it was the popular and very talented Marc Marquez who finished 10th and he will be taking a break from the 2022 MotoGP season to get another arm surgery.
