The 47th UAE National Day is just around the corner, and to honor it Lotfi Hamrouni is going to attempt to create a world record by riding continuously for 47 hours and would cover around 4000km. This wouldn’t be Lotfi’s first such attempt as he currently holds the world record for covering the longest distance (2,695km) in 24 hours on a motorcycle on public roads.
Lofti is very passionate about motorcycles and riding them has become his addiction. Last year during the 46th UAE National Day celebration, he completed a historic non-stop 1000km scooter ride around the seven Emirates visiting 46 POI including Jebel Jais and Jabel Hafeet.
So it has been just about a year since his last adventurous act, and he is going to get back on a motorcycle this year to attempt this new world record. Lotfi will be riding a KTM 1290 Super Adventure S to complete this challenge. He would ride 47 hours continuously around the Emirates covering about 4000km.
Emirates Cars and Bikes Festival, that is scheduled on 6 – 8th December 2018 at Marsa Plaza located in the Dubai Festival City, is confident that with Lotfi’s motorcycle experience, mental and physical abilities and the best motorcycle in the market, he can complete this challenge and enter again the World Record Books. Lotfi will be starting his journey on 6th December 2018 at 5pm from the Marsa Plaza and the Finish after a safe Ride on 8th December at 4pm.
Lotfi has received a huge support from many sponsors who believe LH 11 can do it. Present at the event will be MATRIX Fitness, ZIVA, Strokerz, Sports Heroes Academy and ANB KTM UAE. Emirates Cars and Bikes Festival also invites all of you to be there to support Lotfi in his incredible world record attempt, and also stand a chance to win eleven signed event’s caps that will be distributed to eleven lucky spectators at the Start and Finish of this World Record Attempt.
