Remember the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-25R that made its debut in Indonesia last year? Of course, you do. This motorcycle was one of the highly awaited launches of 2020. And one of the main reasons behind that was its inline 4-cylinder engine. Yes, a 4-pot motor for a quarter-litre bike. Consequently, the new Ninja ZX-25R attracted so many enthusiasts that the sales figures exceeded Kawasaki Indonesia’s own expectations. And now, to entice even more motorcyclists, the company has updated the 250cc Ninja for MY2022.
The 2022 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-25R has been given 4 new colour options. The motorcycle is now available (in Indonesia) in Lime Green/Ebony/Pearl Blizzard White, Passion Red/Pearl Blizzard White, Metallic Matte Graphene Steel Grey/Metallic Spark Black, and Metallic Spark Black liveries. The new paint schemes should be able to lure in an even wider range of audience.
Which one of the new colours would you pick and why?
The changes are limited to cosmetics only. Underneath the new colours and updated graphics, the 2022 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-25R continues to draw power from the gem-of-an-engine – a 249cc inline 4-cylinder mill capable of spitting out 50 PS at 15,500 rpm and 22.9 Nm at 14,400 rpm. This motor loves to be revved which we can tell by its insane 17,000 rpm redline! For the transmission, Kawasaki has installed a 6-speed gearbox that is mated to an assist and slipper clutch.
Unfortunately, the Ninja ZX-25R is available only in select markets and the Middle East isn’t one of them. But wouldn’t we really like to have this amazing motorcycle in our region? Wouldn’t you?
