Fresh spy shots of the 2021 KTM 1290 Super Adventure without any disguise have surfaced the Internet revealing many key details of the upcoming motorcycle.
The new 1290 Super Adventure will meet the Euro 5 emission regulations, which explains why it has such a massive single-side exhaust which is certainly going to get thumbs down from many enthusiasts. But hey, KTM is helping the world make a better place with its Euro 5 engine, right?
KTM has also used split radiators in the new 1290 Super Adventure. These are expected to be more efficient in their jobs and thus help in keeping the engine at optimum working temperatures. Then we have the huge swingarm and new cast aluminium rear frame. In terms of looks, well, we leave that to you to judge.
Perhaps, the biggest and most hi-tech feature of the 2021 KTM 1290 Super Adventure is the radar-based adaptive cruise control system by Bosch. You see that kind of domed shape in the lower part of the headlight assembly? That’s where all the fitments of the radar-based system are accommodated in. It is being said that this system wouldn’t come as standard with the new bike, rather be an exclusive feature for the higher end R or S models.
We are expecting to learn more about the 2021 KTM 1290 Super Adventure, so stay tuned. Also, do let us know what do you think of the new motorcycle?
