Koenigsegg-Concept-Motorcycle

Christian von Koenigsegg was just five years old when he watched the Norwegian stop motion animated movie Flåklypa Grand Prix. The protagonist in the movie is a bicycle repairman who builds his own racing car. And that’s it! Little Koenigsegg now had a dream – to build his own racing car. A moment of inspiration and the rest we all know.

Koenigsegg makes absolute screamers when it comes to cars, but not motorcycles. However that could change. Maksim Burov is a Moscow-based designer who has imagined what a motorcycle by the Swedish car maker might look like. His design bears similarities to Koenigsegg cars and what is delightful is the bodywork looks like it should be able to accommodate the automagical stuff of Koenigsegg engineering.

But what remains to be seen is can Maksim Burov’s design replicate the impact Flåklypa Grand Prix had on young Koenigsegg. We hope it does.
