Vespa 946 Horse

Vespa has pulled the covers off its latest collector-focused creation, the Vespa 946 Horse, a limited-edition scooter inspired by the free-spirited energy of the Horse zodiac sign. Following last year’s 946 Snake, the new model continues Vespa’s tradition of celebrating the Lunar Calendar through exclusive, design-led editions.

The Year of the Horse represents the seventh sign of the Chinese Zodiac, and Vespa says the 946 Horse captures its quiet strength and luminous intensity. Offered as a numbered limited edition, the scooter is positioned as a true collector’s piece where classic Italian craftsmanship meets contemporary design.

The 946 Horse becomes the fourth Vespa 946 model to honour the Lunar Calendar, joining earlier Bunny and Dragon editions. While the styling and exclusivity take centre stage, the mechanical package remains familiar. Power comes from a 125 cc single-cylinder engine, paired with dual-channel ABS and a rear suspension featuring five-step preload adjustment — keeping the ride refined yet engaging for urban riders.

Complementing the new scooter, Vespa has also introduced fresh lifestyle gear under the In Sella line, the third chapter of its Al Vento apparel collection. Designed for 2026, the range carries a navy blue theme and leans heavily into knitwear, including sweaters, vests and cable-knit cardigans. A matching helmet finished in the same glossy dark brown shade as the 946 Horse rounds off the collection.

The Vespa 946 Horse is expected to arrive in global markets around May 2026, offering scooter enthusiasts and collectors a stylish way to ride into the Year of the Horse.
