Triumph has dropped a teaser for its upcoming Speed Triple RX, set for a global debut on May 13, 2025. Likely a racier, more feature-loaded version of the Speed Triple 1200 RS, the RX is expected to bridge the gap between the naked RS and the faired RR.

Triumph Speed Triple RX: What to expect

The teaser reveals a neon green machine sporting ‘RX’ badging on the fuel tank, hinting at aggressive styling and enhanced performance. Drawing inspiration from the earlier Street Triple RX, this new variant is likely to carry forward the ‘RX’ badge into a sharper, sportier future.

Expect changes to include revised rider ergonomics, semi-active suspension borrowed from the Speed Triple RR, and possibly upgraded braking components. Fatter tyres and minor engine tweaks may also be on the cards, enhancing its road and track appeal.

Currently, the Speed Triple 1200 RS is powered by a 1,160 cc inline 3-cylinder engine that churns out 177.5 bhp of max power and 125 Nm of peak torque. It is paired with a 6-speed gearbox and a bi-directional quick-shifter. The RX may retain this powerhouse with tuning tweaks for sharper response.

Stay tuned as Triumph gears up to pull the wraps off this anticipated performance naked on May 13.
