Suzuki GSX-8R Kiiro

Suzuki has revealed the GSX-8R Kiiro Edition, a limited-run model with just 60 units available. The word Kiiro means “yellow” in Japanese, a fitting name for the bike’s striking yellow and black livery, accented by grey wheels and subframe.

This special edition gets a smoked windscreen, 8R black logos, a single-seat cowl, Gilles billet aluminium levers, and a tank pad for added flair. While it retains the standard GSX-8R’s mechanicals, the cosmetic updates give it a bold, premium stance.

Power comes from the familiar 776cc twin-cylinder engine, delivering 81.8 bhp at 8,500 rpm and 78 Nm at 6,800 rpm, paired with a six-speed gearbox featuring assist and slipper clutch.

The bike rides on Showa SFF-BP front forks, a linked rear shock, and Dunlop RoadSport 2 tyres wrapped around 17-inch wheels. Braking is handled by dual 310 mm discs up front and a 240 mm disc at the rear, while a 14-litre fuel tank and 205 kg kerb weight round out the package.

Expect the Kiiro Edition to carry a slight premium over the standard GSX-8R. Given its exclusivity and enhanced styling, it’s likely to be snapped up quickly by enthusiasts. Unfortunately, currently, it has been only made available in the UK.
