MV Agusta has unveiled a new limited edition motorcycle. It’s called the Superveloce 98 Edizione Limitata and only 300 units will be made and a majority of them have already been reserved by MV Agusta’s dedicated collectors.
MV Agusta had used the “98” label back in 1943 when it had developed its first engine – a 98cc single with a 2-speed gearbox. The MV 98 was introduced in a distinctive burgundy color.
Now after decades, MV Agusta is once again using the “98” label on the Superveloce 98 Edizione Limitata. It can be seen on the motorcycle’s tail section. The “Rosso Verghera” color scheme pays homage to the original color palette.
Powering the MV Agusta Superveloce 98 Edizione Limitata is a 798 cc triple that makes 147 horsepower and features internal components like a counter-rotating crankshaft, DLC-coated cams, titanium valves, etc.
Other interesting bits of the MV Agusta Superveloce 98 Edizione Limitata include a customizable 5.5-inch color TFT instrument cluster, Pirelli Diablo Rosso IV Corsa tires, and wire-spoke wheels finished in golden. MV Agusta is also offering a dedicated kit, including a tail cover, motorcycle cover, race ECU, and an Arrow triple-exit exhaust for track use.
