MV Agusta has gone full insane. Meet the Brutale 1000 ABT – a wild, limited-run machine built with ABT Sportsline. Only 130 units will exist. Each one numbered. Each one unapologetic.
At its heart sits the familiar 998cc inline-four. Now cleaner, but still brutal. In standard form, it makes 201 bhp. But unlock the race kit, and things escalate quickly. An Arrow titanium exhaust and revised ECU push output to 208 bhp. Track use only. As it should be.
The engine hasn’t just been tweaked. It’s been sharpened. New camshafts, revised mapping, faster throttle response, and shorter gearing – it’s all aimed at harder acceleration and a more urgent feel.
Visually, this thing is loud. Nero Carbonio meets Rosso Fuoco red. One side wears ABT’s racing slogan. The other sticks to MV’s “Motorcycle Art” identity. It’s a clash that works.
Carbon fibre is everywhere. Nineteen components, to be exact. Even the rear wheel gets a turbofan-style cover. It’s not just for show; it improves airflow. Underneath, you get Ohlins electronic suspension and Brembo Stylema brakes. There’s an Alcantara seat too, because why not?
