Covid-19 disrupted the entire world. Now, when life is back to ‘normal’ for many people, it appears that the pandemic is still acting as a hindrance to motorcycle events.
As per the reports, 2 motorcycle events for 2023 in Germany have been cancelled. These include the IMA event in Hesse and the BMT show in Berlin.
It is being said that the reason behind the cancellation is not the threat of Covid-19 spike but low exhibitor participation. Apparently, the number of exhibitors signed up for the event was 50% lower than expected, something it links to supply disruption, a lack of staff to run the event, and the overall political and economic situation in the region.
While these two motorcycle events have been cancelled, we’ve already seen other major events like EICMA being conducted in full swing. What do you have to say about it?
