LiveWire, the electric vehicle (EV) arm of Harley-Davidson, continues to make waves in the world of electric mobility. Following the successful debut of the S2 Del Mar ebike, LiveWire has now unveiled its latest creation: the S2 Mulholland. Representing a departure from the tracker-inspired design of its predecessor, the S2 Mulholland embraces a modern cruiser aesthetic, blending style with sustainability and cutting-edge performance.

At first glance, the S2 Mulholland’s design captures attention with its sleek lines and contemporary beauty. The cruiser-style silhouette is complemented by a distinctive tail section, giving the bike a head-turning presence on the road. The monoposto-inspired two-up saddle, extending onto the “tank” cover, adds a touch of sophistication to the overall design. Notably, LiveWire incorporates sustainable materials into the construction of the Mulholland, with radiator shrouds crafted from recycled ocean plastics and bodywork derived from hemp—a testament to the brand’s commitment to eco-conscious practices.

Drawing inspiration from its predecessor, the S2 Mulholland inherits the robust chassis, Brembo brakes, and powerful electric motor from the S2 Del Mar. LiveWire has enhanced the performance capabilities of the Mulholland. Equipped with a 10.5-kWh battery pack, the Mulholland boasts a city range of 121 miles (194 km) per charge—an improvement of eight miles (12 km) over the Del Mar. The 63-kW electric motor delivers an impressive 84 horsepower and 263 Nm of torque, enabling the Mulholland to accelerate from 0 to 100 kph in just 3.3 seconds and achieve a top speed of 160 kph.

In addition to its enhanced performance, the S2 Mulholland introduces several technological innovations aimed at enhancing rider safety and control. The incorporation of cornering ABS and traction control ensures optimal handling in various riding conditions, while the drag-torque slip control system enhances stability during deceleration, preventing rear-wheel lock-ups.

Furthermore, LiveWire’s commitment to innovation extends beyond performance enhancements. The Mulholland sets the stage for what could become the signature aesthetic of the LiveWire brand, with its distinctive headlight and turn signal arrangement reminiscent of the LiveWire One—a nod to the brand’s evolving design language.
