KTM is gearing up to expand its 690 lineup with the all-new 690 Rally, which was recently spotted testing in Europe in what appears to be a near-production-ready form.
Based on the 690 Enduro R, the 690 Rally comes with key upgrades tailored for adventure touring. The most striking feature is the tall Dakar-style windscreen with vertically stacked twin LED headlights, offering better wind protection and visibility. Additionally, the bike is equipped with dual side-mounted fuel tanks, complementing a third under-seat fuel tank—clearly indicating its long-range touring capabilities.

The KTM 690 Rally would be powered by the familiar 693cc, single-cylinder engine from the 690 Enduro R, delivering 74 bhp and strong torque output. The bike would retain the six-speed gearbox, with the possibility of a quickshifter being offered.
While KTM has yet to announce an official launch date, speculation suggests a 2025 EICMA debut. Positioned below the 890 Adventure R, the 690 Rally is expected to be a more affordable, lightweight adventure alternative for serious off-road enthusiasts.
