KTM has taken things to the extreme (as it always does) with the launch of the limited-edition 1390 Super Duke RR Track – a hardcore, circuit-focused carbon-fibre-laden naked machine built for pure performance.

Limited to just 100 units globally, this isn’t road-legal and is aimed squarely at serious track riders and collectors. Stripped of all road-going components, it is claimed to be around 20 kg lighter than the standard model.

One of the biggest changes comes in the form of a full titanium Akrapovic exhaust system, replacing the Euro5+ compliant setup with a MotoGP-style stubby unit. Freed from homologation constraints, the 1350cc V-twin engine now delivers a staggering 199.2 bhp and 150 Nm of torque.

The weight-saving measures go even further, with extensive use of carbon fibre bodywork, forged magnesium wheels, titanium fasteners, and a lightweight subframe combining aluminium and carbon fibre. Pillion provisions have been completely eliminated, while the electronics package has been simplified for track use.

Suspension duties are handled by fully adjustable WP Pro components, offering 130 mm of travel at the front and 120 mm at the rear. The bike rides on 17-inch wheels wrapped in Michelin Power Performance slick tyres.

Braking performance is equally serious, featuring Brembo GP4-MS monobloc calipers paired with 320 mm T-Drive discs.
