Following the recent worldwide launch of the new 2018 Indian Scout Bobber, Indian Motorcycle UAE introduced this beautiful bike to the local market yesterday; in an event that was attended by vast number of motorcycle riders, media, and industry enthusiasts. The launch event took place at Indian Motorcycles’ showroom in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
The Scout Bobber
The Indian Scout Bobber features a new riding position, blacked out styling, knobbly tyres, tracker handlebars and repositioned footpegs that have been moved 1.5 inches (38mm) rearwards. This new setup gives the Scout Bobber a more engaged riding position and a meaner look. The model’s low-slung profile and one inch (25mm) lowered rear suspension along with new cartridge forks up front gives a new feel and energy to the ride.
Further features include a black headlight nacelle, minimal engine covers and vented exhaust shields. There’s also a black speedometer face (instead of the usual red and cream) and a black exhaust. Chopped front and rear fenders and a new two-tone genuine leather bobber seat enhance the minimalistic styling. Additionally, an entirely new bold Indian fuel tank badge marks this out as Scout Bobber.

During the launch event, we had the opportunity to interview Mr. Amjad Al Debs; Marketing Manager Indian Motorcycles – UAE. He spoke about the achievements of Indian Motorcycles in the UAE over the past few years. He highlighted the reasons behind the great success being the lifestyle that the brand offers to its customers, the customizability of their motorcycles and the great performance Indian Motorcycles provides; all at affordable and very reasonable prices.
Mr. Al Debs prepared us for a great year ahead, with new launches and products coming to the UAE market. We are looking forward to seeing the new lineup of Indian Motorcycles coming to the market and cannot wait to try the new Scout Bobber ourselves.
