Honda’s first electric motorcycle, the EV Fun Concept, which made its debut at EICMA 2024, is now edging closer to production. The Japanese brand has showcased a near-production prototype of the bike, spotted in camouflage, but retaining much of the design language from the original concept.

The production-ready EV Fun looks almost identical to the concept, with only minor changes such as revised body panels, new fenders, indicators, footpegs, and a rear license plate holder. It continues to feature vertically stacked headlights, a TFT instrument cluster, and a single-sided swingarm paired with a belt drive setup.

A large split battery pack dominates the frame, and while Honda earlier claimed a modest 100+ km range, the prototype now comes with a CCS2 DC fast charging port, suggesting faster charging capabilities that could make up for its limited range.

Though official specifications remain under wraps, the EV Fun is shaping up to be Honda’s global entry into the electric motorcycle space. With its urban-friendly design, practical features, and fast-charging promise, it is expected to appeal to both commuters and enthusiasts exploring electric mobility.
