Honda CB1000GT at EICMA 2025

Honda just dropped a bomb at EICMA 2025 with the all-new CB1000GT, a litre-class machine that looks to have the thrill of a naked sports bike and the comfort and practicality of a grand tourer. It’s aimed squarely at riders who crave long highway runs but refuse to compromise on power.

The Honda CB1000GT looks every bit the part — sharp front cowl, sculpted shrouds, and a purposeful stance that screams performance. Underneath, it packs the 1,000cc inline-four from the CB1000 Hornet, fine-tuned with revised fuel injection and throttle-by-wire mapping for a smoother, punchier response.

The steel diamond frame and new subframe are designed for stability and touring confidence, easily handling a pillion and loaded panniers without breaking a sweat. The real magic, though, comes from the EERA (Electronically Equipped Ride Adjustment) suspension, which uses a six-axis IMU to automatically tweak damping for every bump, corner, and stretch of tarmac.

You also get four riding modes — Standard, Sport, Rain, and Tour — plus a User mode, along with a quick shifter and Honda RoadSync connectivity for calls, navigation, and tunes on the go.

Another equipment of the CB1000GT is the quick shifter, which eliminates the need for left-hand clutch operation except when starting or stopping. This function helps reduce rider fatigue during both urban and long-distance riding.

Add in factory accessories like panniers, top boxes, tall windscreens, and comfort seats, and the CB1000GT becomes a serious mile-muncher.
