Harley-Davidson X440

Harley-Davidson and Hero MotoCorp have extended their partnership, aiming to develop more motorcycles for select markets. This collaboration builds on the success of their previous models, the Harley-Davidson X440 and Hero Mavrick 440.

The Harley-Davidson X440, launched in 2023, features a 27 bhp single-cylinder engine. Inspired by scrambler styling, it is manufactured by Hero at their Neemrana facility in Rajasthan and is currently on sale in 7 different colors.

This alliance, which began in 2020, mirrors partnerships like Bajaj-Triumph and TVS-BMW, focusing on crafting middleweight motorcycles for diverse markets. With Hero’s dominance in the 100–110cc segment and Harley’s expertise in premium bikes, this collaboration bridges gaps to cater to a wider audience.

About the extended partnership, Hero added: “The extension of the existing collaboration between Hero and Harley-Davidson, which has been in place since October 2020, will expand the X440 motorcycle into new variants and develop and manufacture a new motorcycle.”
