Here’s a Harley-Davidson 883 Sportster that has been given a makeover and transformed into a head-turning Scrambler. The customization work has been done by Lord Drake Kustoms which is currently based in Malaga, Spain, and Miami, USA. These guys have been in the business for years now and named this build the Martini.
As it’s evident in the pictures, the Harley-Davidson 883 Sportster is fitted with several different parts and components that give it the scrambler look. To begin with, the motorcycle uses a Biltwell BMX-type handlebar that gels with the bike’s character. Lord Drake Kustoms has also incorporated big spoke wheels that use knobby Continental TKC 80 tires.
To give the Martini scrambler-like performance, the front stock suspension setup has been finely tuned, and accompanied by fork shrouds, whereas the rear shock absorbers have been replaced with a pair of high-spec units. The original subframe has also been cut and the factory-fitted exhaust has been given away for a Tracker 2-into-1 system.
While Lord Drake Kustoms has kept the original peanut-shaped fuel tank, it has made a custom scrambler seat and metal fenders for this build. The name of the motorcycle comes from the exquisite paint job which is inspired by the graphics of the rally cars that carried the famous Italian brand of vermouth. The colour scheme also features black pieces painted with electrostatic powder paint and has some details in red to top things off.
The Martini is a limited edition build. Lord Drake Kustoms will make only 10 units and is currently accepting orders. The first unit of the customized Harley-Davidson 883 Sportster has been built at Lord Drake Kustoms’ headquarter in Malaga, Spain, and will be delivered to the owner in Germany. The remaining units will be created at the same HQ.
