Word around town is that the world-renowned Italian motorcycle manufacturer, Ducati, is working on an SP variant of the mighty, popular, and extremely powerful naked, the Streetfighter V4.
While there isn’t any official confirmation about the same from the company, as per a recent media report, some emission documents have been filed in America that suggests the development of a Ducati Streetfighter V4 SP.
The said documents also reveal that the power output of the Streetfighter V4 SP would remain the same as that of the current model – 202 HP. This suggests that the SP model of the naked Ducati would likely come with some high-end parts to justify the increased price and its exclusivity.
So, expect the Ducati Streetfighter V4 SP to feature carbon fibre components for some weight shedding and sportier visual appeal. The brakes on the motorcycle would be improved and perhaps Ducati would install Brembo Stylema R calipers. The company would also provide a dry clutch conversion. To ensure that the Streetfighter V4 SP stands out from the regular models, Ducati is expected to offer a flashy livery with the updated naked.
While there’s no word about the availability and launch of the Streetfighter V4 SP as of now, speculations say that Ducati would introduce the new motorcycle by the end of this year.
