Ducati has once again captivated enthusiasts with the unveiling of the Panigale V4 Tricolore Italia, a stunning collector’s edition that celebrates the brand’s dominance at Mugello in 2024. Unveiled at the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy (MIMIT) in Rome, this exclusive model pays tribute to Francesco Bagnaia’s triumph aboard the Ducati Lenovo Team’s Azzurro-liveried race machine.
The Panigale V4 Tricolore Italia is more than just a motorcycle – it’s a celebration of Italian heritage and craftsmanship. Ducati will produce only 163 units, a symbolic number reflecting Bagnaia’s iconic race number 63 and his first-place finish. Each unit is individually numbered and features Bagnaia’s signature on the tank, ensuring exclusivity.
Claudio Domenicali, CEO of Ducati, unveiled the bike in the esteemed Salone degli Arazzi at Palazzo Piacentini alongside Italy’s Minister of Enterprises and Made in Italy, Adolfo Urso. The event underscored Ducati’s commitment to promoting Made in Italy excellence, aligning perfectly with the upcoming Italian National Day of Made in Italy on April 15.
Built on the Panigale V4 S platform, the Tricolore Italia boasts several performance enhancements designed for track supremacy. Key upgrades include:
1- Carbon Fiber Wheels: Five-spoke lightweight rims reduce weight by 0.950 kg, enhancing agility and reducing inertia by 12% in the front and 19% in the rear.
2- Advanced Braking System: The first production motorcycle to feature Brembo GP4 Sport Production calipers, paired with 338.5 mm Brembo T-Drive discs, ensuring superior braking consistency and power.
3- Dry Clutch and Race-Ready Upgrades: A dry clutch, adjustable aluminum footpegs, and a GPS module come as standard, with additional track-focused accessories such as a carbon fiber clutch cover and brake caliper conveyors.
The Panigale V4 Tricolore Italia incorporates Ducati’s Race eCBS and Ducati Vehicle Observer (DVO) systems, offering cutting-edge electronic stability and cornering control. The bike’s aerodynamic enhancements, derived from MotoGP, ensure optimal downforce and performance during high-speed maneuvers.
To elevate the ownership experience, Ducati has meticulously crafted this edition with bespoke touches:
1- Alcantara Saddle and Racing Plexiglass: Enhance comfort and aesthetics.
