The Ducati Diavel V4 has been honored with the “Best of the Best” title in the Product Design category at the 2024 Red Dot Awards. This prestigious accolade reaffirms Ducati’s commitment to design excellence, adding another feather to the cap of the renowned Borgo Panigale brand.
Since its inception in 1955, the Red Dot Award has recognized outstanding design across various industries. This year, the expert jury acknowledged the Diavel V4’s groundbreaking design, awarding it the highest honor, the “Red Dot Award 2024: Best of the Best.” This distinction is reserved for products that set new benchmarks in their respective sectors.
The Diavel V4’s win continues Ducati’s legacy of design excellence, following similar accolades for the 1199 Panigale in 2013, the XDiavel in 2016, and the Diavel 1260 in 2019. Ducati motorcycles are celebrated for their unique blend of style, sophistication, and performance.
Characterized by its muscular yet elegant lines, the Diavel V4 features visually concentrated mass at the front and a sleek, agile rear. Notable design elements include retractable footrests, a passenger handle, the distinctive V4 Granturismo engine, spectacular LED lights, a robust 240-section rear tire on a machined five-spoke alloy wheel, and a striking four-way silencer.
Nearly two years since its debut, the Diavel V4 continues to garner acclaim from top design authorities and the global press. It has also received the prestigious Good Design Award and a Special Mention at the German Design Award 2024.
The 2024 Red Dot Award ceremony will take place on June 24th at the Aalto Theatre in Essen, Germany. Winners will be showcased at the Red Dot Museum in Zollverein, Essen, a UNESCO world heritage site.
