ducati Desmo450 EDS

Big things are brewing in Borgo Panigale. Ducati is gearing up to unveil its first road-legal enduro bike called the Desmo450 EDS on June 9, and anticipation is already building. Pre-orders are open. That alone says a lot.

First showcased at EICMA 2025, the Desmo450 EDS marks Ducati’s serious push into the enduro space. It arrives alongside the smaller Desmo250 MX, but this is the one enthusiasts are watching closely.

While Ducati is keeping the spec sheet under wraps for now, key details are starting to surface. The EDS is expected to share its 449.6cc single-cylinder engine with the Desmo450 MX and Factory variants. That’s a proven motocross-derived platform.

Cycle parts are likely to follow a similar formula. Expect fully adjustable Showa suspension, including 49mm front forks and a rear shock setup designed to soak up serious punishment off-road.

The timing couldn’t be better. With Ducati celebrating its 100-year anniversary in 2026, the brand is clearly going all-in on expanding its portfolio. June 9 can’t come soon enough.
