Bike Nation Magazine, being media partner of the Dubai Motorbike Festival, attended a press conference by Dubai Police and Dubai Motorbike Festival announcing the attempt of breaking the world record of the longest wheelie on an ATV. The event took place at Cafe Rider in Dubai.

Captain Abdulla Al Hattawi popularly known as Abdulla Hollandi, a member of the Dubai Police Force, Dubai Police Stunt Team and one of the top ATV stunt athletes in the world is gearing up to break the world record for the world’s longest wheelie on an ATV.

The current world record stands at 50km, the Dubai Motorbike Festival and Abdulla Hollandi are set to break this record on January 12th 2018, opening the motorcycle exhibition for the weekend.

The route will begin in Ghantoot and continue down Sheikh Zayed Road to the doors of the Dubai Motorbike Festival hosted at the Dubai World Trade Centre totaling an impressive 60km.

When he is not competing in motorcycle stunt tournaments abroad, Abdulla Hollandi is a senior official in the Dubai Police responsible for training the Dubai Police Special Forces.

 

His Excellency General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police said, “We at Dubai Police extend our full support to Captain Abdulla Al Hattawi in his attempt to break this Guinness World Record.“

A convoy of patrol cars and motorcycles from Dubai Police will be following Hollandi on his attempt along with bikers from motorbike clubs from within the UAE and around the region gathering together to support the attempt and the Dubai Motorbike Festival, making this a must-see and historic event.

The world record attempt will take place in Dubai on Friday 12th January 2018 at 8am.

Co-located with the 3rd edition of the Extreme Sports Expo the Dubai Motorbike Festival will feature the big names in the industry attracting all the adrenaline seekers and bikers from the UAE and neighbouring countries.

Admission is AED30 per day, AED40 for a weekend pass and children under 12 are free. Show hours are 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday and 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday.
