The Yamaha Tenere 700 and Aprilia Tuareg 660 are two capable off-roaders in the middleweight category. While Triumph does have full-blown off-road machines in the form of the Tiger 900 and 1200, it doesn’t have one in this segment. Now, reports suggest that the company could be working on something that would be an answer to motorcycles like the Tenere 700 and Tuareg 660.
It is being said that Triumph could be working on an off-road-focused Tiger Rally 660. The company already sells the Trident 660 and also has the Tiger Sport 660 and it is extremely likely that the so-called Tiger Rally 660 would borrow the same engine and multiple other parts.
Reports also say that Triumph might showcase this new Tiger at this year’s EICMA. However, nothing is official as of now.
