Dubai’s motorcycling scene is gearing up for the Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride 2026 that returns to the city on May 17. The ride will once again be hosted by the Piston Kings Motorcycle Community, marking its third consecutive year as the official organiser.
Set to take place at 25th Jump Street from 3 PM onwards, the Dubai leg, branded as DGR Arabia, brings together riders on classic and vintage-style motorcycles, all dressed in dapper attire to support a serious cause.
Founded in 2012 by Mark Hawwa in Sydney, the Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride has grown into the world’s largest charity motorcycling event. Its mission revolves around raising awareness for men’s mental health and prostate cancer, while encouraging open conversations and supporting research initiatives.
DGR Dubai is expanding rapidly. It started with only 35 riders, but now, it has grown into a 350+ strong community ride, reflecting the rising engagement within the UAE’s motorcycle culture. “We’re proud of what we’ve been able to achieve in 3 years. The ride has grown from the initial 35 riders since the Piston Kings got involved & we’re now hosting more than 350 riders who join together for a noble cause” – Khan FM, DGR Arabia Ride Host.
The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride 2026 is proudly endorsed by EMSO, ensuring safety and organisational standards. Atiq Hassan Mubarak, senior coordinator at EMSO, said “EMSO is delighted to endorse Distinguished Gentlemen’s Ride in Dubai for 2026 & help support the wider mental health community through this noble initiative. We support all UAE Riders who will take part in the Ride to celebrate men’s health, especially for this year.”
In addition, Breitling joins as the official timekeeper. Adding global flavour this year, the 2026 DGR Arabia will also be hosting the Bobhead Brothers from the UK as Official Ambassadors to the Ride, adding their experience within the Global Motorcycle Community & advocating Men’s Mental Health from an international perspective.
With registrations now open, DGR Arabia 2026 aims to further strengthen the bond between riding culture and meaningful causes, thus proving once again that motorcycles can stand for more than just the ride.
