Indian Motorcycle has announced a major multi-year partnership with Vance & Hines Motorsports, marking a new performance-driven chapter for the brand as it moves under fresh leadership. The collaboration brings together Indian’s legacy of racing since 1901 with Vance & Hines’ decades of championship-winning expertise in road racing, flat track and drag racing.
The partnership kicks off with Vance & Hines taking charge of the Indian Motorcycle–Vance & Hines factory racing program for the 2026 MotoAmerica King of the Baggers season. Leading the new factory team is a powerhouse rider lineup featuring 2024 champion Troy Herfoss, 2023 title winner Hayden Gillim and young talent Rocco Landers. Their weapon of choice: an all-new Vance & Hines–tuned Indian Challenger powered by the liquid-cooled 112ci PowerPlus V-Twin.
With three King of the Baggers championships in the last six years, the Indian Challenger has already proven itself a dominant force. Now, with the combined engineering and race craft of both brands, Indian aims to reclaim the crown when the season opens at Daytona International Speedway from March 5–7, 2026.
