Yamaha has unveiled its track-only GYTR-spec YZF-R1. This motorcycle is much more than just minor changes, stripped lights and tweaked livery. Yamaha has incorporated more than 25 GYTR (Genuine Yamaha Team Racing) components and also installed a race-oriented Akrapovic exhaust.

The GYTR-Spec Yamaha R1 features stainless steel braided brake lines, GYTR steel piston caliper kit, and Brembo Z04 brake pads for improved braking capabilities. The motorcycle is also equipped with a set of race handlebars with a billet front brake lever guard. Other parts include GB Racing engine covers, an R-Series 520 chain, and a racing windscreen.

Yamaha has also thrown in GYTR ECU and new wiring harness to allow tuners to go all in. Also, the GYTR-Spec Yamaha R1 runs on Bridgestone R11. There’s also the GYTR Pro range that includes a swingarm, carbon rear subframe, triple clamp, airducts for brake calipers, steering damper and much more.
